She also helped Agutin to record his first English language record. Created together with Al Di Meola and titled "Cosomopolitan Life", the album dropped in Europe in the spring of 2005 and quickly topped the charts. The album included the Varum and Agutin duet "If I'll get a chance".
After spending much of 2006 touring, Varum released a new album in 2007 called "Muzika" (Music) that included both new and old songs. This was followed up by another album in 2009 titled "Yesli on uidet" (If he leaves). For the first time in her career, Varum not only sang, but also wrote the lyrics for some of the songs.
In 2010 and 2011, Varum and Agutin gave a series of concerts in most of Russia's major cities, including a performance at the Kremlin in collaboration with the renowned Cuban musician Orlando "Maraca" Valle.
In 1994 she took part for the first time at the “Deutsches Schlager Festival”, and reached with "Silbermond und Sternenfeuer" the second place. Another start in this contest with "Wie Flammen im Wind" finally brought her the victory in 1997. The same year she also took part at the German preselection to the ESC and ended third with the song "Im Auge des Orkans". In this contest she needs a second attempt to win too. In 2001 she won the preselection and represented Germany with "Wer Liebe lebt" in Copenhagen. She reached the eighth place. 1999 and 2001 she could each win an echo and also the “goldene Stimmgabel”. In Austria she had not only good chartpositions, but also she won the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards in 2001 and 2003.
In 2003, her life went into private turbulences. So she started again in 2009 with a new album ("Goodbye Michelle") in the charts.
Today she is living with two of her three children and two children of her partner: "Family is the most important thing. They can keep you - and I need this feeling. "But she also needs her appearances:" I love the music, the songs, my fans, my audience. The songs express what I really feel. "And as she recites her songs, she indeed looks very authentic.
About her title 30.000 degrees she said: "This is pure life - not in the fast lane, but on a path that takes one's heartbeat seriously and do not want to repress them." Michelle was in the German preselection for OGAESC already 14 times and is therefore the fourth most successful performer in the preselection. It is her second attempt at the international OGAE Song Contest. In 2001 she sang the title "Wirst du noch da sein" in Sweden and became 4th. The experience shows indeed that their second attempt at a competition is always very successful... So we cross our fingers for her appearance in France.
But the numbers don't tell Taylor's story half as well as she could. After all, it's the intangibles that elevate Swift into the stratosphere of our pop culture planet, allowing the 25-year old singer-songwriter to orbit in a more rarified air. Her large-scale charitable contributions are one thing, but it's in the small gestures – the notes of compassion she posts on the Instagram photos of lovelorn fans, the genuine hugs she distributes without discretion – where Swift proves time and time again that platinum-selling, record-setting success has not changed her inherent nature. She is awkwardly honest and powerfully empathetic; a brazen superfan, loyal friend, fierce protector of hearts; and one of the world's greatest ambassadors for the power of just being yourself.
Granted, for Taylor, "being herself" tends towards shimmering, gossamer perfection – but that's an image regularly blown whenever she dons fake braces and a tri-pony to clown around on late night TV. She's the first artist since the Beatles (and the only female artist in history) to log six or more weeks at #1 with three consecutive studio albums, and while she's been named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World and one of only eight candidates for their most prestigious honor, 2014 Person of the Year, she's probably the only person on these lists who uses social media to post notes to her best friends and videos of her cats.
As Billboard Magazine's Woman of the Year (only artist to receive this nod twice, and youngest-ever honoree) released her critically acclaimed fifth album, 1989, she astounded the world by selling almost 1.3 million albums in its debut week. A fete that had been called impossible in 2014, Taylor proved it was possible. She calls 1989 her most sonically cohesive collection, it is a touchstone; Taylor's songwriting and sonic evolution surprises us more than ever before. Heavily keyboard and beat driven, the pop sensibilities that have always been the hallmark of Taylor's music now move front and center. On 1989 she finds herself, as always, in the glare of a blinding spotlight – but if you think that scares her, you haven't been paying attention. She's ready to blaze into the next phase of her still-young career, where she'll continue to dance like no one's watching, write like she stole our collective diary, and inevitably soar to ever-greater heights. All that's left to wonder is how many more lives she'll lift in the process.
"Blank Space" was written by Swift, Max Martin and Shellback. The song was released to the radio by Republic Records on November 10, 2014 as the album's second single, after "Shake It Off" and is the second track on the album. Musically, "Blank Space" is a synthpop song with lyrics that satirize the media's perception of Swift and her relationships. "Blank Space" was a critical and commercial success, having reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 following "Shake It Off". The song has also topped charts in Canada, South Africa and Australia. It also charted in the top-10 in numerous countries, such as Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, New Zealand, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The song's accompanying music video was directed by Joseph Kahn and was shot over three days. It has reached 1 billion views on Vevo, becoming the third and the fastest to do so. It's also the most viewed music video by a female artist on both YouTube and Vevo, and the third overall.
The band Pravila igre was presented to the audience with their debut single "Nebo na mojoj strani“ (Sky On My Side) in the Hit Records label, which is also elected to represent Croatia on the OGAE Song Contest 2015. It is a love story fast-paced music about everyday life situations. In a very short time this song came to a very high places in both, national and regional radio stations and has achieved remarkable success with listeners and the music critics.
Music, text and arrangement for the song is signed by Miro Buljan whose long friendship with the boys from the band grew into a common wish to turn their musical potential into something new and different. He claims that guys have a great perspective because they are entertaining but in the same time very diligent, because they were on a very high level of musicianship and professionalism in the studio, during the recording of their debut single.
The single also has an appropriate video which was filmed under the direction of Filip Dizdar in attractive locations in and around Zagreb. Common wish of Filip Dizdar and the guys from the band was to create an ultra-modern visual experience.
